Giacomo Puccini - Turandot, Nessun Dorma (interprete Luciano Pavarotti)

Manowar - Nessun Dorma

Ovviamente Pavarotti è inarrivabile, ma Eric Adams, che non ha la voce da tenore, ne dà una bellissima interpretazione

Nemmeno Branduardi è esente da cover... metallo italico!!!

Molti non sanno che pure la canzone di Branduardi è in realtà una "cover"! Il ballo in Fa nasce da un canto popolare medievale, molto famoso in Friuli.

Tocca ora ai brasiliani Angra L'ex (e mai dimenticato) singer André Matos interpreta la canzone con grande personalità. Questa cover per me è di gran lunga migliore dell'originale.

Piccola nota: André Matos possiede 5 diplomi di conservatorio tra cui (se non ricordo male) pianoforte, canto lirico e maestro d'orchestra. La sua più grande passione dopo il metal è infatti la musica classica.

Beh, diamine, dopo aver ficcato in sta' discussione Angra e Manowar, qui hai citato una band di ragazzi modenesi che si autoproducono e che suonano ancora anche nei pub della zona quando non c'e' niente di meglio....
Effettivamente devo ammettere che in questa cover il cantante non ha dato il massimo, perche' l'ho sentito fare molto di piu' e dal vivo.

Beh io ho sentito il cd "Evil needs candy too" e non sono malaccio, in effetti il cantato non è così cattivo in tutte le canzoni ma in questa non è per nulla sufficiente.

Sono felice se dal vivo faccia meglio, è segno di maturazione. Auguro che studi e che continui a migliorare, dopotutto canta un genere musicale tra i più difficili al mondo e dove la critica è particolarmente aggressiva. Speriamo possano crescere ;)
